The advice of your property manager may sometimes appear to be in conflict with common wisdom.
Everyone seems to have a comment about the demand for rental accommodation at a given time, what a market rent is for a property, what special conditions can be written into a lease agreement or the optimal lease term for a property.
It's interesting to know that when a property is advertised for a set rent, it doesn't necessarily mean that that is the figure it was leased at. The 'arm chair experts' don't take this or the length of time a property is on the market into consideration when making their assertions.

Your property manager will give you unbiased and factual information based upon 'coal face' experience and intimate market place knowledge. The moral of the story is: if in doubt, seek the advice of an unbiased professional - your property manager.
